Reading & Writing:
Students focused on using periods, question marks, and exclamation points to end their sentences. We read books including More Bears and The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog and practiced making our voices match the punctuation.
Students continued working with shapes with focus on triangles and quadrilaterals (4-sided shapes like squares, rectangles, and trapezoids).
Students learned what a map is and its different parts. We learned the name of our town, state, country, and continent.
We had such a fun visit to Willard High School to check out the Agriculture Department's pumpkin patch and play some games! A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Kimmons from WHS for inviting us!
